Welcome to Rabbits Class (EYFS)
Class Teacher: Miss Swift
Class Teaching Assistants: Mrs Vickers
Our Learning
The emphasis in Rabbit Class is having fun and instilling a love of learning. We teacher the Early Years curriculum through a range of exciting and engaging texts and topics, with the Early Learning Goals supporting the framework of our curriculum. Children engage weekly with Forest School to develop outdoor learning skills, support wellbeing and develop pupil resilience.
In Early Years and Key Stage One, we use Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised to teach phonics and early reading. We have daily phonics lessons that later in Year 2 and beyond become spelling, grammar, and punctuation lessons. We teach reading sessions through Little Wandle to develop fluency, comprehension, and prosody.
More information about our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for individual subjects can be found on our curriculum pages and in our termly Learning Letters, links to which are included below.
Timetable
Our general timetable can be downloaded below. Our timetable is subject to change but gives you an overview of coverage each week.
