Breakfast Club
At Shorne, we offer good quality before-school childcare in the breakfast club. We provide a nutritious and healthy breakfast that will prepare your children for their school day. Our programme of activities is varied and challenging, making sure that all play opportunities are offered at every session. We follow a structured routine to accommodate the environment it is in and the needs of the children. Each child can choose freely what they want to do and are invited to join in activities, including board games and arts & crafts, which at all times adhere to both equal opportunities and health and safety.
The entrance to the Breakfast Club is the main front entrance only. Drop children at the front door to either Mrs Pitcher or Mrs Parish
Timings
Breakfast Club runs every school day from 07:30 – 08:35 for all children
Pricing
£4.50 per child, payable in advance and bookable in advance via Arbor.
We are now offering that you can send your child in from 8.15am and they will join breakfast club but not receive any breakfast, this will be at a discounted rate of £2.00 per child.
Wraparound Care
At Shorne Primary School, we have introduced Progressive Kids Wraparound Care. We will continue to run some after-school clubs.
Here is an idea of some of the activities that the children will take part in:
- Kids-Play – our inclusive child-led activities are zoned into 4 areas. We have an active zone, a wellbeing zone, a discovery zone and a creative zone. The children can free-flow through the activities and get involved with the ones they enjoy.
- Sports Activities – you’ll find a different sport will be available each night, from dodgeball to nerf wars or archery to football – there will be something on offer for everyone!
- One-Off Events – we will also run seasonal arts and crafts events or unique activities like glow sports. There will be a series of one-off events each term to provide variety and opportunities to get involved in something different.
Finally, we believe our comprehensive before and after-school care not only addresses your needs but will provide an enjoyable and nurturing environment for your child.
Timings
The sessions will run every day after school from Monday – Friday. There will be two slots available:
15:20 – 16:30 (fruit will be provided)
16:30 – 17:30 (a main evening snack will be provided)
Pricing
It will cost £6 per child, per session.
Bookings will be made directly with Progressive Sport and the school will receive a daily register with the names of the attending children.
