We would like to wish Year Six good luck in the SATs tests next week.
We are very proud of all the children at Shorne School and as their Head of School I know how hard they have worked and the effort they have put into their learning. They deserve to be incredibly proud of themselves for what they have achieved, who they are and what they believe. An end of year test and an end of year expectation does not measure the learning journey they have taken. These results do not show how they can play a musical instrument, write a poem or participate in sport. The results do not show how their friends rely on them to brighten their day or how kind, thoughtful and trustworthy they can be. The scores tell you something… but they do not tell you everything. Be proud of your child. They are credit to the school.
