Wellbeing Week 2021
Wellbeing week was a chance for the children to dive into their own minds and learn all about how to stay positive and help others – especially during these uncertain times. The children created acrostic poems and messages to send out to parents/their friends at school. Check out the images below.
Multicultural week 2020
Multicultural week was a chance to look at the wider world and celebrate other cultures and customs. There was a Geography focus but the opportunity to study artwork, food, languages, traditions and comparing lifestyles was also studied.
The children studied their country throughout the week and produced a poster of their learning which they shared in assembly.
The progression and coverage in Geography was looked at by the Geography co-ordinator and analysed to see where gaps were in the learning. Areas were highlighted and then countries were assigned to Year groups which enabled the teachers to plug the geographical gaps so children could be sure to cover all aspects of the Geography curriculum.
